Drum machine software

I'm looking to possibly upgrade from my trusty old Dr. Rhythm machine, and wondered if anyone had any experience with drum machine software that's Mac friendly. I saw a program in a store today that wasn't half bad. Programs with lots of jazz sounds/patterns especially appreciated.

Was it iDrum?

They have a demo that you can download. I downloaded it, but never did too much with it, but it will interface with all the standard recording software (including Garageband) and also work stand-alone. The reviews of it that I found were all pretty positive, and someday I may pop for it.

I downloaded the iDrum demo and it seemed okay, but all it had were techno/house sounds. Is it the kinda thing where you can load other sound samples into it? If so, it might be worth a looksee. Beyond entering stuff into Sibelius, I'm kind of a MIDI dummy.
