I'd like to let everyone know about a happening this coming Saturday, May 6th. The legendary bassist Henry Grimes will be conducting a workshop at the Center for Improvisational Music in Brooklyn, followed by a concert with his trio. It'll be a great opportunity to get some insight on the improvisational process from someone who has collaborated with some of the great musicians in the jazz idiom.
