Flying With My Bass

Hey everybody. I will be going to school in Boston but will every now and again be coming home and I will have to fly. I must be a little confused with the whole flight case thing. Where do you put your bass if it is in a flight case? Does it go with cargo under the plane or is it still in the cabin? I would think it would have to be in the cabin with the below zero temp. and the no pressurization. I would think though that it would be to big to be put in the cabin. Can you guys help me out? Also how do you guys fly with your bass and what would be the easiest? Thanks

Not to endorse the site of course....but if you go to www.isbworldoffice.com and click the events link there's a link for each airline and what you can expect from them/how to handle them when travelling with a bass.
