Format of a Resume

Hey all,
I've been putting together a resume to send to colleges, and I'm just curious about what sort of things to include. Right now, I have listed: private teachers (with dates), performing ensembles, (with dates), major repertoire (solo and orchestral), summer programs attended, master classes attended, and individual lessons I've had with people. I'm a little unsure of how it should look, or what order things should be in. If anyone could help point me in the right direction, or show me a sample or something, it would be greatly appreciated!

Corey

If you go to www.curtis.edu and look at their application there is a resume type set up that may help you.

Are you talking about the list of rep. you have played? That's not a resume...that's a list of what you've played.

My resume has a list of the festivals I've played at with the music director and conductor listed. Then I have a section for Education, I mention the arts academy I attend, head of music, music director, dean of arts, then some rep. Then I mention private teachers.

It's best to keep it concise.
