Fun with Flying

I had a bass customer fly in from Dallas over the weekend to pick out which Paesold 3/4 she wanted. The American Airlines round trip ticket from Dallas to San Francisco was only $200.00 purchased 2 days in advance! Yesterday I brought the bass in the David Gage trunk to the American Airlines counter to help with the inspection process. They were quite agreeable to have the T.S.A. guy come up and do the inspection near the check-in counter. He did a thorough inspection and I was able to pack the bass so that it would arrive safely. The extra charge for the large piece was only $150.00.

All in all, it was an easy, inexpensive, and grief-free experience. I've heard enough horror stories about flying with a bass, that I felt compelled to relate a good one for a change.
