I hate pigeon holing labels, but as in David Grisman' Dawg music, Jazz influenced Bluegrass, acoustic string Jazz, Django Reindthart influenced guitar stuff w/ a more contemp. edge, Mando Jazz...whatever you want to call it. Just good music

Their album 'Angel Eyes' is pretty straight ahead jazz, beautifully executed.

Wish I could be there!

Yes it is. They recorded that in Chicago w/ a rythm section from there. I'm on The Carlini Quartet albums 'Live at the Turning Point' and 'The Games Afoot' which features Don and is also pretty straight ahead w/some excellent originals by John Carlini and also features Pat Cloud playing (don't laugh) Jazz banjo on some cuts. It really works..
