I've recently started looking at Jazz studies programs for grad school..this is a good thread for me. I'm willing to basically go anywhere and have so far looked into UNT, Michigan State, DePaul, and Eastman. I'll definetely be looking at Indiana now as well. Are there any others I should consider? My main requirements are a good jazz program and jazz bass instructor, along with a good classical bass instructor and orchestra program. Schools hungry for bassists would be good too, I don't have a ton of money and would need financial aid through scholarships/fed aid/assistanceships. I want to major in Jazz studies, but keep my classical chops sharp...and I'll see how realistic that is when I start! Any advice=much appreciated.

Not personally, but I am aware of his work in some cool projects like Fat Kid Wednesdays.
