I had, a long time ago, set up a web site for gig announcements and the like with a service I wrote call PaperTheCity! There are a few around that remember this, and it also was never much used.
I've setup a Google Group to handle gig announcements and such for TBDB'ers. This may turn out to be absolutely redundant and go unused as well. We'll see how it goes.

Once you are a member, you can simply send announcements to
tbdb@googlegroups.com
I've set the group up as being moderated so that spam machines don't stink it up. So when you join I'll (or whoever else wants to split moderating) have to OK the membership which should happen over night, if not immediately.
