Question Greyhound shipping?

Has anyone had any experience w/ shipping a DB via Greyhound bus? It's supposed to be an economical way to go.

Thanks, BG

I have shipped myself many times and watched what they do to luggage underneath. Considering how both myself and my luggage were banged around, I can't imagine it being good for a bass at all. but others might know more...

So nobody has shipped a bass thru Greyhound?
Let me know.

I need to get one of my basses to Miami and leave it there for some gigs throughout the winter/spring. I don't own a hard case. Any ideas?

BG
