Thanks PC. No gig for me tonight tho, I'm going to go home, feel sad and listless because I didn't start achieving a dream that I already started achieving, or something like that. I dunno, I'm just confused.

Anyhoo, it's off to the 'shed tonight. Have fun and don't go overboard with them dribbles, ok?

Actually sometimes us urban dwellers have to schlep to the 'shed sadly. I do it so I can shed after hours. I can't wait til I get to live in a place that has a basement/garage someday.
*sigh*

Ah. Bummer. Some days its good to live in suburbs. I shed in my living room.

OTOH if I had to go somewhere I payed for or whatever I'd be more likely to be focused. The temptations at home can be huge distractions.

-You can always do it at Bart and pick up a few bucks while you are at it.
Or just move to Oakland like so many other SF residents....

Actually I'm thinking about getting a guitarist and maybe busking around the area for kicks. Moving to Oakbooty is def something that might be in the future. Maybe this summer.

True dat but the space I have is kinda weird. It's basically a basement storage room for a Jamba Juice and a Taqueria (the chimichanga's are incredible). There's no ventilation whatsoever so you start feeling asphyxiated after 2 hours. The space is about 15'x15' and I've managed to cram in 4 other players and all their once.

I used to do it at Rockridge and Macarthur. If I take the train into sf for a gig I sometimes pull it out and play a few tunes I know the heads to like "Whims of Chambers", "Softly.." and "the Haitian Fight song" I normally make more than my Bart fare in 20 min or so at Civic or Powell.
It is good for your sound.
