I bought John Clayton's Gage case

I've been in the market for a used travel case for sometime and the other day when I called Gage's they told me they had a used 7/8 regular for sale, a perfect fit.

So my dad went to pick it up yesterday and he was told that it used to belong to none other than the great John Clayton!! Just though I'd share.

Dude...put your bass in there overnight. Maybe it has some of Clayton's mojo!

I was offered a similar case recently, a Gage that apparently belonged to Ray Brown. It found its way out here to Hawaii, and belonged to a friend of mine who tragically died in a horrendous car accident just before Christmas.

Justin...sorry, my last post was a bit of a buzzkill. John Clayton is one of my favorites, and I hope you can get whatever mojo is in that trunk directly into your fingertips.
