I need two contrasting pieces

I'm trying to get into the music department at James madison university in virginia.

For the audition I am required to play two contrasting pieces of a "classical" nature.

I have a teacher, but he seems to be more concerned about technique and scales than with choosing and playing the two required pieces.

What would you recommend as good pieces of music for an audition at a university?
