iphone apps...

Just purchased the 4Track app for my iphone and immediately laid down a four track recording to illustrate an arrangement I was working on to my bandmates. Very nice app.

What other must have apps are people using?

Even though no one here seems to own an iphone I must inform you of the REAL BOOK app now available. 500 songs, transpose into any key you like. Awesome.

Wow! Thanks for letting us know about this. It's called iReal Book, and it really does deftly replace a big ol' Real Book of jazz standards, with the added benefit of auto-transposition. The tunes even display nicely on a single screen. Not bad for $7.99!

Got it and it is pretty cool! Only draw back was the band leader thought I was texting on the gig. After a brief demonstration all was well. I recommend it with 2 caveats: no Christmas tunes and i would like to be able to edit chords with my own reharmonizations. Otherwise a good buy.

I have a iTouch. Can't do the recording app since there is no mic but I picked up the iReal Book. Pretty cool.
