Jazz programs with some older students

I've been out of college a handful of years. I'm planning to go back to school to formally study music and then become a music teacher probably in public school. Most programs offer only day courses so I'll probably go back full-time.

In researching many of the university programs, I'm having a tough time finding out which schools have at least a handful of older students in the undergrad program. I imagine the private, well-known conservatory type places have mostly students who entered directly from high school. And public universities have more post-bac students.

Are there any current students or recent grads that can attest to the percentage of returning students in their programs? Or opinions about which programs or which type of programs might be better suited to older students?

Thanks!
