Jazz Standard for Flute

Hey all,
My girlfriend is a great classical flutist, and is looking to get into jazz. What would be a good Jazz peice for flute, that could be improvised upon.
I could throw out a thousand standards, but I was wondering if there was any tunes that lay well on flute.
