Here's my once a year DB post and public service announcement.
The JVC Newport Festival lineup was announced this morning.
Headliners include George Benson, Al Jarreau, Angelique Kidjo,
Chris Botti and Savion Glover at Fort Adams State Park.
The Friday night lineup is reserved seating only at the
Newport 'Casino', the tennis venue. This is a very elegant
affair. This event usually sells out very quickly, so step up if
you want to go, tickets go on sale May 10th at 10:00 AM.
The Friday show is opening with Jane Monheit and the
headliner is John Pizzarelli and his 16 piece big band.
