Keyboard Double Bass Emulator

A friend sent me these videos in which a DB has apparently been sampled and is replayable via a keyboard. What I find most intriguing, are the timbre and dynamics:

It was just a matter of time. Perhaps the next generation of samples can include dead spots, wolf tones, hot and/or weak notes, and random out-of tune pitches to make the double bass patch even more authentic!

Young double bassists, get a teacher - a KEYBOARD teacher!

Incidentally, I noticed that the grand piano, Fender Rhodes and Wurlitzer electric piano
were still in use. Why couldn't we hear those instruments sampled along with the bass?
