is it to late or could i do it?

hi guys

well heres how it is im the lead singer in a band (a tribute band) that is to say the least a million miles from classical or jazz, i also write songs and record mainly rock songs . i can play basic music on drums bass, guitar ect. ok i recently got my first double bass and im loving it finding my was round the finger board but my question is i have the intension of taking lessons and trying to learn classical or jazz bass, given my musical background do i have a hope?

Do you have 30 minutes a day to devote to practice? That's a minimum to keep moving forward.

I started when I was 50. It's starting to come together for me. I turn 54 tomorrow.
