Legal considerations on sharing transcriptions

I have a big collection of transcriptions (bass lines from pop-rock bands) made by myself and I use then in my classes.
I'm planning to share then on internet but don't know if this will be against any copyrigth law. I have seem many times instruccional books that avoid the use of transcripcion material and create their own music to supplement the theory in the book and I always think it was to avoid paying any copyrigth fees.

Any help will be appreciated.

IF YOU WANT REAL ADVICE YOU CAN RELY ON about the applicable laws of the Kingdom of Spain or the Principality of Asturias PAY AN ATTORNEY WHO KNOWS THAT LAW IN THAT PLACE. If you want manure ask for legal advice on a double-bass internet bulletin board.

+ + +

Anyway, if you want detailed, potentially-worthless-and-harmful internet legal advice google up "fair use doctrine." You'll probably find a bunch of material supporting the notion that, in some parts of the world, sharing copyrighted work for direct, in-person educational use is not usually a violation of applicable law.

Putting copyrighted material on an open internet site is almost certainly not that. I'd avoid it if it were me in your shoes.
