Looking For UB Lessons in San Diego.

Looking For Lessons in San Diego. I am purchasing an Eminence EUB this month and want to get started right/ correctly. I have read already that the best way is with an instructor. Does the great city or county of Dago have any UB players with time to teach this old dog?

Thanks in advance.

Thumbs up

Google two of the best in the world....
Bob Magnusson and Bert Turetzky. they can help put you in touch with a good beginner teach.
Or, call The San Diego Symphony. Or, call the San Diego Musicians Association. Or, call luthier Dave Mallard.
Google is a wonderful thang.

There is a great bass shop in town called Hammond Ashley, I'm sure they could put you in touch with a great teacher:
6255 Ferris Square, Suite E
San Diego, CA 92121
Ph: 858.623.0036
Fax: 858.623.0293
sandiego@hammondashley.com
If none of these options pan out, shoot me a PM and I can get you in touch with a good friend who is very plugged into the jazz scene in San Diego and could point you in the right direction.
Good Luck,
John
