A buddy of mine sent me this copy of a letter Sonny wrote to Coleman Hawkins. The sentiment is just wonderful....

crap the pdf isn't loading and I can't delete this now. If anybody wants a copy lemme know and I'll e-mail it.

Always loved Coleman Hawkins.

The letter from Sonny Rollins is ... the most elevated and sobering and motivating thing I've read in a while.

A colossal thank you to Ed for posting and sharing it. Hopefully by bumping this thread even more people will benefit from it.
