Valentine's Day Concert in Miami with The Johnny Rodgers Band


Celebrate Valentine's Day in Miami at the 11th annual “Moonlight & Music” Concert on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.

The Johnny Rodgers Band
Featuring:
Johnny Rodgers - piano, vocals
Brian Glassman - bass
Danny Mallon - drums, percussion, vocals
Joe Ravo – guitar

and special musical guests:
Wendy Pedersen, Cisco Dimas, Rick Krive and Georgia DeFalco

The Valentine's Day Concert at the Deering Estate offers couples and families the opportunity to celebrate at an outdoor concert under the stars, on the edge of Biscayne Bay. Guests are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnic baskets. Limited refreshments and food will be available for an additional fee.

Tickets are $20. You can purchase tickets online for an additional fee of $2.50 per ticket or by calling the Deering Estate Ticket Office at 305-235-1668 ext. 233. The gate opens at 6:00 pm and the concert begins at 7:00 pm. Parking is free.

The JRB dazzles audiences with the new American Song Book and some timeless favorites from the likes of Mel Torme, Randy Newman and Ray Charles.

They are creating fans in the U.S. and abroad. The Band was selected by Jazz at Lincoln Center and U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs for the renowned Rhythm Road international tour in 2010 to share their Americana Pop music with the world. They describe their Americana Pop music as today’s vibrancy of sound with roots in diverse musical styling’s that have made American music popular around the world.
