Milt Hinton on PBS

Anyone else catch the Milt Hinton biography on PBS Tuesday night?
Showed dozens of his photographs, included old and recent footage of him playing and teaching, interview clips with him and numerous jazz luminaries including Ron Carter and Christian McBride, a clip showing his slap technique, and a clip from the Johnny Carson show in which he played and sang. I didn't know he was a singer as well.
Gotta watch for that to come 'round again.

I missed that thread (and the show) first time around.
I rarely watch the tube, but got a phone call from a friend telling me when and what channel.
I'd pay to have a copy of that show. Great stuff. Should look into Milt's books also.

I just did a search and the Milt Hinton show "Keeping Time: The Life, Music and Photographs of Milt Hinton" will air on PBS (ch 44) here in MA on Sunday 4/17/05 at 4:00 a.m. EST
