Have desperately been looking for a book with 140 pieces by Ron Carter, title: "The Music of Ron Carter"
Has anybody got a clue?
Would pay even to have a photo-copied version.

Never heard of that - although I've got a book (with CD) called "Building Jazz Bass lines" by Ron Carter....? And there is a book of transcriptions available. "Ron Carter Collection"

EDIT : A Google search got a lot of hits for the name of this book..
