Not much on for the pure jazz thing early in the week(Labor Day too), but there's the mighty Time Jumpers in their usual Monday night spot at the Station Inn near downtown. Some tasty western swing with some really top-notch players. Don't see anything listed at either Bourbon St. Blues Bar or BB King's - the holiday I guess. Famous Dave's is my BBQ of choice, Jim & Nick's is good too. Can't leave without going by the Loveless Cafe for some biscuits and country ham though! (might even go with you).
