New Student allergic to rosin what to do

Hi I was going to post this in the teachers forum but didn't have access to it so I thought I would put this here.

I have just started teaching a new student that is doing quite well for a beginner on the double bass, but he isn't able to use the bow because he is allergic to rosin.

The student has a bunch of allergies and can go into shock when being in contact with things such as latex and some glues.

He is a great kid with a lot of potential and I have no problem teaching him just pizz but the bow is such a big part of learning the double bass I was wondering if anyone had any substitutes for rosin.

I have no experience with it, but it is marketed as hypo allergenic.

I've used this stuff, and it's pretty good. if it's an option in relation to the allergies then I'd recommend it.
