New website

Afternoon all,

For those that may be interested, we've just updated and built a new website at www.LinvilleRidgeBand.com Aaron has also built one at www.aaronramseyonline.com

We had the good fortune of having a very dear and gracious friend host our old site on his server for nothing, for many years. I had built that site myself, but it was too cumbersome to update. Then, around Christmas, my old desktop computer died, which is where the files were stored.

We built the new site on www.Bandzoogle.com and transferred our domain name. It costs about $20 a month to have a site there, but it's very easy to update and you can manage email addy's in order for folks to keep up with you very easily. There's site traffic info and lots of other features and then you can change the look of your website, with just a few clicks, whenever you feel froggy. You can also get better rates if you pay for a whole year.

Also, if you don't own a domain name, they can get one for you as part of the package. There's also a referral program that will benefit those (like me) who help to spread the word. If you think you'd like to try it (and you can for a whole month for free) click on the little bandzoogle icon on the lower parts of each page on our site.

Let me know what you think.

Morning all,

We've been making some changes on the website and have added a media/presskit
page and a site-wide audio player. For a limited time we're also allowing a
free download of "When Uncle Came Home From the War."

Also, if you are involved in a band or another organization needing a website
presence, I invite you to click on the bandzoogle link at the bottom of each
page. There's a 30 day trial period and it may just help us out of you DO
decide to build a site with them. It's extremely easy. Even I can do it!

Thanks,
