Wow, I'd love to see you with John & Don! I love their CDs.

I wouldn't call it Newgrass though - its straight up jazz on the mandolin, that's all.

Well, yeah and nah. We do touch more on some Bluegrass material live. And on the John Carlini Quartet album 'The Game's Afoot!' http://cdbaby.com/cd/carlini
that Don and I are on, while it primarily is a Jazz album featuring John's original comps we do play 'Poor Wayfaring Stranger' We also have Pat Cloud guesting on banjo on that recording. He really can blow over Jazz changes as well.

And I guess the newer things John and Don have been recording in Chicago where Don lives, have been Jazz renditions of standards etc.

Often John records the live shows. I'll try to send you some trax if he does.

I know these guys for years and it's always big fun to work w/ them .
