The North Sea Jazz Cruise! WOW!

I was browsing Marcus Miller's website to check out what tunes of his I am missing and I noticed that his tour dates list includes a cruise ship. So I checked out the site...

I am amazed. Look at all those hip artists playing on the same cruise ship! It's like a jazzfest I've could only of dreamt of, and happens to be on a cruise ship!

It is now my ultimate goal of life to go on this cruise!

They should put them all on separate boats in case one sinks.

I've seen ads for this in a couple magazines -- looks like one hell of a cruise!

I saw it mentioned in UK Jazz magazines - there was talk of the tempting prospect of seeing Marcus Jam "after hours" with Herbie Hancock and Roy Hargrove !!

There are lots of these Jazz festivals in Europe in the summer and I suppose it's a good steady income for the 'name' players, plus it gives some newcomers a chance to get on the bill and it represents a pretty good deal for the European Jazz fans - a chance to see all the US acts we miss the rest of the year!
