Oscar Peterson's playing out?
He's got a week at Jazz alley in seattle.
I heard he had a stroke a while back and is not fully recovered. Is this true?

Playing out again? Wow. It's true about the stroke, and I believe he had some arthritis problems, too.
That guy's piano playing will rule FOREVER.

I have tickets to see him in Toronto in November. Quartet, with NHOP on bass. Will file a report here afterwards.

According to
his online journal
he played in France last month during the heat wave. Must be feeling better!
