My son just flew in to L.A. from N.Y.C. He said it's supposed to snow 6 to 9 inches tonight in the City. Better get your galoshes on Ed.

Yeah, it's getting there. It looks like they aren't streaming the performance, either...

I was able to watch it via the video stream. I take it you didn't attend.

Hunh, I wonder if it was a loading issue, I checked in at about 10:45, then again at 11:30 and the screen was blank. Which is what they usually do if the group requests that it not be broadcast.

No I stayed out of the snow, how was it?

I came in at the beginning of the second set @ midnight. The video content of the broadcast is rarely any good, but that's more an issue with my ISP. I had to really strain to hear Neal in the mix. As a result I only tuned in for a couple of numbers.

I caught part of the last set..... the group sounded nice. I could hear Neal and he was Swingin'... I saw Ben Wolfe last week and his bass projected the best of anyone I have heard on the stream... Another great player.

Should be able to hear the bass better in a smaller group setting. If you have not heard Neal play you should... He has the goods.....

Not that anybody cares, but I had the site bookmarked to the video page and when I clicked on the bookmark and went to the site, the video window was dead. However when I clicked on the LIVE VIDEO button on the left tool bar, everything was cool and I got the stream.

Neal's playing with Mike Kanan and Joe Strasser tonight, that's the trio that recorded HAPPY HOUR...highly recommended.

I have the Small's daily schedule as my homepage.

I wasn't too disappointed the other night as Neal has been playing a few gigs there recently. Definately looking forward to tonight's trio . Better luck this time maybe ?

Neal has the goods alright and my favorite CD (Happy Hour) release this year to prove it.

Mike Kanan is the man. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it out (playing @ the Garage 6 - 10)
