Not a bad vocal Elvis impression.

I wonder if Paul owns the bass. It appears that it had been re-strung left handed.

Thanks for the link.

From an interview with Macca

"Within seconds he has picked up the upright, which I now notice is painted gold, and announces that 'my wife, Linda' bought it as a present, and that it used to belong to Elvis Presley's original bassman, Bill Black."

Oooh boy...sorry, I love Paul McCartney, but that was hard to watch. I'm not a real stickler for perfect technique and hand position, but that made my whole body hurt just looking at it. He makes Charlie Haden look flawless.

Looks to me like it's strung traditionally. He's playing high notes closer to his body and low notes away. Backwards.

Before he got his Hofner, he used Stu Sutclife's bass. It was a right handed instrument, and he had to play it strung right handed as Stu didn't want it restrung.

Tru dat. Besides, it's just one tune, and if he does more, he can afford the finest physical therapists in the business.

And I thought I sucked at DB. He makes me look flawless too.
