Yup, I remember....is that the same as "almost pregnant"?

I catch myself in a pretty nasty Alley Oop type of slump sometimes when I sit. You know, lungs empty, bad spine curve, not good. I don't think I play any better in a seated position, so I'm thinking that maybe I'll try Bassus Erectus for awhile. That's how I used to do it; can't remember why I decided to start bringing a stool.

Lemur Stool

I am a double bass player studying in Europe. I bought the lemur stool and it worked very well (although I have to say, for that price, which keeps going up! it really fell apart rather quickly. They should have some sort of waranty), but it looks like it would cost more to ship it over here than the stool itself cost. Does anybody know of a good portable stool curently sold in a European shop?
