Good god! Talk about horse-****!

Tell ya what. Our engineering staff here at the Curly Music Workshop has developed a petroleum-based multi-tined resonance-enhancement system which has been proven to improve the demographic modulation of your double bass if used consistently and properly over the long-term. Although the costs of petroleum products has risen dramatically over the past week, we here at the Curly Music Workshop are committed to bearing your budget in mind and we are holding costs steady at $140.00 FOR TODAY ONLY. Act now or take the risk . . . you'll never know what you've been missing . . .

I've also heard that there is someone in New York that tunes and aligns your instrument's chakras. Don't know what that costs though.

Check out the "Harmonic Soundboard Reference" ($1500) at the same website. Christ. I can only imagine what the guys would say if I showed up at a gig with one of those.

It's a bridge, buy it. I know where to get more too.

There was someone pedaling a little board he threw on the ground, and you put your endpin on it and play, and he nods saying "hear it? hear it?!!" like it made some kind of difference. Saw it at some trade show, thought it was a hoot.
