| Pop songs from the 2000s with I IV V changes I'm a graphic designer by trade, and as part of my presentation at an upcoming conference I'll be talking about the similarities between design and songwriting.
I'm going to mention the durability of the I IV V (or I V IV) construction in pop songs throughout the decades. Examples include: "I Fought the Law" (Bobby Fuller, '60s), "Baba O'Reilly (The Who, '70s), 500 Miles (The Proclaimers, '80s), Mmm Bop (Hanson, '90s).
Now I just need something from the Aughts, '00s, or whatever you prefer to call the years from 2000-2009.
Any suggestions? It needs to be a fairly obvious example and a well-known song.
Thanks!
Marc
