Question about connecting to a Tascam CD-BT1mkII with a Fishman Platinum Pre-Amp

I have been using my Tascam CD-BT1mkII to play CDs at a slower speed to work out bass lines.

One of the features of the unit is to allow me to hook up my bass and listen to it in one channel while the CD music is in another channel.

I have a Fishman full circle pick-up on my double bass. When I try to connect the pickup directly into the player using the "Bass In" input, it registers the notes using the tuner function. But, I cannot get a loud enough signal to hear myself playing through the unit.

I have a Fishman Pro-EQ Platinum pre-amp and my question is where do I input the cord from the pre-amp. Using the "Bass in" input or "Line in" input?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
