Question for Marcus Johnson

Hi Marcus,

I saw on one of your previous posts, that you were going to play a gig with Willie Nelson. On a later post, you said that you cut a CD with Willie. Was this a live recording, or did y'all run off to a studio to do it. I've allways been an advocate of the bass players creed (Thou shalt not covet another bass players gig), but I have to admit that I'm envious. I imagine that this must have been a really fun session. I'm curious though, did they provide you with written out bass lines, or did they give you chord charts, or did you just work up your own head charts. I'd love to hear more about this session.
