Recording/Conversion/Disc Burn/Plug-ins

Ok, I've recorded some solo tracks on my MOTU with Audio Desk software. Now, how do I get that to my itunes? In garage band you would just convert the track but I don't see anything like that in Audio Desk. What do you do to get that track out of Audio Desk and on your computer.... Plus, what do you guys do for eq etc. Buy plug-ins? Like the Wave stuff?

Hi Jason.

IIRC, Audiodesk is a version of DP 5 with the MIDI stuff all stripped out. Almost all pro recording programs call what you want to do "bounce to disk" or just "bounce." I think in DP it's under the Audio menu.

For plug ins, well, before using 3rd party plugins, learn about what's included in your software package. Although the Waves plugins famously sound great, you may not need to spend that much to get what you want. I use Logic, it's a great end to end system, now only 500 bucks, and the included plug ins compete pretty well with 3rd party stuff, IMHO.

Well I did something that's against my true nature...

I read the manual...

Bounce tracks, yes, I've heard it so many times in the studio! I'm working on it and we'll see how it all goes.
