Unhappy RIP Mal Waldron

He was 76 and one of the greatest accompanists and more interesting composers in jazz history. What a loss!

Get Eric Dolphy's Live at the Five Spot, with Richard Davis on bass, or Mingus' Pithecanthropus Erectus.

What Pete said! Also, "Hot House", with Steve Lacy, always gives me chicken skin. No bass, but a great recording nontheless. He was one of the giants.
