Sad News - Bob Riccardi

For those of you who live in the Phila/South Jersey area, I found out last nite that Bob Riccardi, Bassist and Luthier,
passed away a few weeks ago.

I've known Bob for ten years. He worked a few times on my basses and even threw in a few free bowing technique lessons during my visits to his shop.

He was a gentleman and a good musician.

I was sorry to see your post about Bob Riccardi. I met him about a year ago when he reset the neck on my Kay. A real nice guy..as you say, a gentleman.
He was very helpful, wasn't in a hurry to get rid of a DB newbie with many questions. I was impressed with the bows he was making. They looked really nice to me, and it was obvious that he took great care with them. I am sorry to hear of his passing.
