Shameless Gig Spam

To any NYC/Long Island TB'ers:

I'm playing this Sunday at a gig that I am very excited about, so I decided to share it with you all!

Recently my brother and I opened our own music school, something we've thought about doing for a long time, and that's finally come to fruition. We are very excited because this Sunday (Oct 22nd) there willl be a street fair on the block of our store, and we have decided to have a grand opening celebration.

Todd Coolman was kind enough to arrange to have the SUNY Purchase College Jazz Orchestra (which is a killing big band) come and play for us from 1-2pm, under his direction.

In addition, my bro and I will be playing with the great pianist Dave Lalama and the amazing Matt Wilson from 3-4pm. If we are lucky, Todd will stick around and sit in on bass, and maybe play a little cello too!

Anyway, it's an outdoor event, and all are invited if you live in the area. I'd love to see some of my TB friends around! Here's a link to our website: www.musicacademyofgc.com.
