Shameless Proud Papa Gig Spam

My very talented daughter, Dana, will perform the lead role of Fiordiligi in Mozart's opera Cosi Fan Tutte on January 8 (2010), in Cambridge, Mass. She is performing with the Commonwealth Opera Company at the YMCA Theater at 820 Massachusetts Ave. Dana is currently a doctoral candidate at Boston University (on a full scholarship!) and earned her Masters degree at NEC. More info can be had at her website:www.danaschnitzer.com/calendar.php

I'll be there and will look forward to greeting any TB compatriots.

Congratulations. I am very impressed with your daughter's website. Nicely done! My daughter-in-law is also a talented soprano. She just graduated with her MM on Dec 18th. She is currently auditioning for a position in a doctoral program. She was in Boston and Cincinnati this month. It is great being able to celebrate our children's accomplishments and that they are more talented than I could ever aspire to be. Have a Merry Christmas.

Congratulations Arnold, you must be bursting!

Good thing she got her looks from her mom...

Edit: I just found the Handel and the Mozart recordings on her site - very nice singing!

Yeah, if I was gonna pick a bass Lluthier bassed on looks I'd go with Hannah. When it comes to actually buying a bass, Arnold would work just fine.

Again, have a great evening.

Have a wonderful evening Arnold and family. It is indeed a great blessing to have children and it's joyous to share in their triumphs.

All The Best

The performance was excellent and Dana brought the house down (as usual). The rest of the cast was also quite good and the show was entertaining. The story line, on the other hand...
