Shipping DB Strings from USA to Canada

What's the smartest way to do this to avoid excess duty and shipping charges?

I'm buying some used DB strings- from a private seller in the States.

I'm thinking regular mail and on the customs form.

"Used strings - No Commercial Value"

Any tips?
