Songs for western swing/honky-tonk country band?

I'm in a start-up western swing/honky-tonk country band and we have 20 songs we're working on by Buck Owens, Jerry Jeff Walker, Ray Price, Hank Thompson, Alan Jackson, Carl Smith, Bill Haley and others.

Do you have any suggestions for sources of good but not over-done songs in the genre?

Any hot but little known recording artists from the 40s and 50s you might suggest I seek out?

Thank you.

Definitely add Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys, Wynn Stewart, and Lefty Frizzell to your list of folks to check out....

Noodle around the genre section at CD Baby.
Here is the "Western Swing" page with artists and samples:

You might also have a look at the Texas, Western and Country Boogie genres for some good examples like Bob Wills' brother Billy Jack, Asleep At The Wheel and some of the modern/newer bands to see what songs they play.

My favourite little known Western Swing is on "Roy Lanham & The Whippoorwills" - great singing, great playing, great original songs too!
