string height or action?

I saw a post my Drurb in which he said that on this side we generally say string height not action, and it got me thinking and I noticed that I some times say both, might be a result of being a doubler, but I was wondering what every one else says.

I almost always hear "action" in reference to BGs and I hear either when speaking of the big girl.

"Action" always makes me think of the West Side Story.

"How's the action on your mother's side of the street, Action?"

haha yeah, at first I misread you statement about the "Big girl" as "Big girls" and then I realized you were talking about double bass and not large women. but yeah thats what Ive found also that either is exceptable
