TBer's Unite in Responsible Behavior

I made an appointment with a TBer today to come see my bass. I changed my whole day for this, took the kid out in the snow, canceled a doctors appointment etc etc. And the dude just didn't show. No call, no text, no email. There are a lot of serious players looking at this bass right now and I do my best to accommodate them. I gotta full plate getting ready to go on tour in Europe on a few days. TBer's be kind to one another.

That's a bummer. Did you check in with him, just to make sure he was okay?

I had a student not show up, no call, no nothing, and it pissed me off for a minute. Turned out his mom died.

Drag. Yeah, I know.....I've offered some TBers my time to hook them up with somebody in their areas to play with, help them in PM's with bass adjustments and have even given free lessons over the phone to players in some God forbidden part of the world. It works good for about half the time and I usually have a great time, but sometimes people just like to see if you're for real.
I only give my time and interest to posters who use their real names on their posts at TB now.
If this happens much more, I'll get rid of of my contact stuff here. I hate to do that.

I say it every day . . . time to say it again:

I sent him a confirmation yesterday at 7:15 am but he was last online at 2:50 am! So, apparently he never checked back to see my response. His last note to me was "how's noon tomorrow" and I wrote "great"....

Something just didn't connect....oh well.
