Teacher

I am interested in beginning to play double bass, but I want to talk with a teacher about it first, and find a teacher that I will be able to get to easily. None of the music stores around here offer Double Bass lessons, Are there any DB teachers on TB teaching in the Northern California Stockton/Tracy area? Or is there some sort of online directory of of teachers?

...universities, colleges, schools where music is taught. Maybe no DB teachers but there might be someone who knows where one is hiding...
