This is sad news indeed. Ted's Chord Chemistry was one of the first books that I used when learning guitar back in the late 1970's. It is truly a complete reference on chord theory and I still find it useful as a general music theory reference. I certainly gained from Ted's contributions and I know many others have too. He lives on through these publications.
