Threat?

I just recieved a email from an anonymous poster here on TB.
This was not a threat in the sense of the word, but disturbing enough for me to mention it in public.
I'm well aware that some of my ' humor? ' can be often caustic.
I try to do this only when I get involved with a poster who I, and others, have arrived at a point where I feel it is hopeless to make any kind of exchange in an intelligent way. I will continue to be " My Own Sweet Self ", as Miles Davis once said.
PW
PS...By the way, I invite this individual to join us here in public, to discuss any issues.

Hi Paul.
Sorry to hear that.
The best way to handle this is to report the offending post or PM to the admin or a super-mod like Chris Fitzgerald.

Best regards,
François

P.S. I'm no longer a mod on TB for your information.

Paul, while admittedly I am primarily a slabbist, I don't recall your ever insulting me. I feel a bit left out.

You probably made the mistake of making an intelligent and readable post.
Actually, this person didnt accuse me of being insulting. ( damn it! ).

Right on! If you need any advice on your meds., in terms of MGs, dosage amounts, give me a holler.

That's kind of spooky Paul. Let's hope they get over it soon.

I personally enjoy your brand of sarcasm, except when I'm hosing coffee through my nose because you're so f*cking funny!

Sorry to hear that this happened, Paul. I have gotten a few rude, unhinged, furious, and personally attacking PM's on this site.

Its a drag. Says more about the person who sent you the message then anything about you, IMHO.

Just a reminder that everyone can disable PMs altogether, or set them for "buddies and mods" only.

Franswa, this came to my personal email. I get quite a bit of positive contacts on email AND PMs, so I hesitate to disable anything.
Thanks, man.

Thanks. Durrl has offered some help on this from his MOD position. I turned him down because of my statement a few weeks ago about the lack of color and energy here on TBDB now days. This issue is sure giving me the " color " I asked for.

Excellent point. Sadly, the PM system is a double edged sword here.
