I have heard from a friend that New Orleans may evacuate this weekend in front of (soon to be) Hurricane Gustav. Let's see what we can do TB. Keep an eye on things if you have friends and family in the Big Easy. Keep them all in our prayers.

How about the Fort Worth Symphony's recent Mahler Cycle installment number two? Three Mahler symphonies in three nights? That's some Gustav to be feared!

I have been coordinating efforts in central TX to secure lodgings and such for people. Pleas PM me if you or anyone you may know is heading towards the Austin, San Marcos or San Antonio areas. I may be able to secure a place to crash if they need it. Other-wise, the donation run is going on at the Texas State University School of Music starting this Tuesday AM.
